Could you imagine what it would be like to actually work — earn a living — punch in the clock — make the dough — be employed — and still not have a place to lay your head down? So many people talk about wanting a job, getting a better job and for what? So you can still be at the poverty line? What the hell is wrong with this picture? Honest, hard working people get up everyday to work only to have no where to call their own to rest.
This is why I am such a believer in building a career and not just finding another job. What is the point of going into work, if you’re still going to be broke? Or in this case, homeless. What is the point of living paycheck to paycheck, if you’re not actually living?
