Most of us work in order to survive. Not even to live. We work for the bills, we work for the rent, we work for the mortgage, we work for the car note, we work for the groceries, we work for the clothes, we work for the utilities, we work for the benefits, we work for the time off.
Then we come home, realize how much we hate who we work for, how often we work, how hard we have to work and and what we do work.
I’m not whistling a different tune. The song remains the same. Our work is very much tied to our happiness, our lifestyle and our outlook, because we spend the better parts of our days at work.
Work matters. There’s no escaping from it.
